League of Legends MMO Producer Proclaims Plans to Depart Riot

Simply over two years after Riot Video games introduced its League of Legends MMORPG, the sport’s government producer is stepping down.

At present, government producer Greg Avenue introduced his departure from Riot Video games in a Twitter thread.

“A combo of private {and professional} issues led me to down this path,” Avenue wrote. “We skilled some devastating private losses final 12 months and I wish to be nearer to my surviving household.”

Nevertheless, Avenue assured Riot followers that the MMO spinoff continues to be in manufacturing.

“The MMO is in good arms and it is the appropriate time handy over the reigns for the subsequent part,” he wrote. “I plan to remain in sport growth and I’ve had plenty of thrilling alternatives offered to me already. And I can be with you all taking part in the Riot MMO when it comes out.”

Avenue first joined Riot because the lead gameplay designer on the unique League of Legends in 2013, in line with Riot’s web site. He introduced the League of Legends MMORPG in 2020 through a tweet, although in 2022, he mentioned there may be “no assure” the sport releases.
